Our mission is to design eco-conscious floral designs beyond your imagination, making every event worthy of your celebration.

In an industry where waste is inevitable, Boom and Blume is passionate about being environmentally sustainable. Our team limits waste, from a small boutonnière to a large scale sweeping floral wall. Our carbon footprint is top priority and we are committed to never designing with floral foam for this reason. This mantra extends throughout your experience with B & B. We will breakdown the designs and recycle and reuse when possible. 

Tara Blume, the owner of Boom and Blume, has called Los Angeles home for 15 years. Tara has been happily married for 11 years and together with her loving husband, Bryan, for 19 years. She feels strongly that everyone can find the kind of love Bryan and her share. She feels drawn to wedding celebrations and develops a real courtship with her clientele.

Tara has many talents and has always had a unique design eye; she has a way of creating fantastical movement with the florals she curates for each event. Tara first honed her skills with flowers 7 years ago and taught herself the sustainable techniques she knows today.  She loves the way floral arrangements can impact any party or event and set the tone for an unforgettable moment. She appreciates the vibrant beauty of nature and honors that, by preserving it in her installations and allow every stem to naturally dictate where it will be used. Her real passion lies in large installments that seem to float in time. She is invested in her client’s overall vision, curates their ideas, and elevating every event she has the pleasure to work with. Working tirelessly for her clients, Tara is a relentless perfectionist and has a kind heart, you'll love her.
